Brentford go into today’s game at Walsall on a run of form that has been as well documented as the fact that Sam Saunders once worked for London Transport.

For those football fans who have, proverbially, been living on the moon/under water (delete as applicable) then the simple facts are that Brentford, currently top of League One, have won 13 of their last 14 games. As interesting, a win at Walsall today will equal our club record of nine consecutive league wins.
