We’ll tidy up Saturday’s loose ends shortly but, first, you may recall that yesterday I was torn between Scotland v Gibraltar in Euro 2016 or a potential Brentford v QPR / Fulham game in next season’s Championship. (Anything for a diversion from that Wolves result.)

Thanks for reading over the course of the campaign. For now I need to make space on this page for any follow up. The ‘close season’ / World Cup columns continue in full, further on in this site.
pendant fact……‘The Express & Star’ (two of the most unlikely bed fellows you could ever imagine) : Actually Mr B, they are owned by the same nasty bloke – Richard Desmond … Nice article ! love Smiffy
Many thanks . Who am I to stand in the way of pedantry?
Duly noted – cheers
The Express & Star is owned by the Midland News Association which in turn is owned by the Graham family (and has been for over 100 years). I think it’s the biggest regional daily in England. I have it every day. They say really nice things about the Wolves and are not at all biased.
