Blackpool rocks to Bees up Fulham down as Adam’s choice is questioned

20 Aug

Brentford are four points clear of Fulham and it’s not even the end of August. We’re three points clear of Wigan Athletic and it’s not even the end of August.

Victory on our travels at Blackpool has sent the Bees storming up the embryonic table and, whilst I’d generally say to allow ten games before it has officially ‘taken shape’, a win and a draw from our opening few matches is not  a record to be sniffed at.

To read the rest of this article, season 2014/15 is now available to download onto Kindle (and other electronic reading device) in full. Containing additional material and even some (poor) editing, you can get it here for less than the cost of a Griffin Park matchday programme or Balti Pie.

Thanks for reading and all your comments over the course of the season. For now, I need to make more space on the site for any follow up. However, ‘close season’ will continue in full, further along.

Ive thought the ban on vines was rather petty and pointless. The Premier League has liked to market itself as a game of the people, yet if the people want to video a clip at the back of a high stand on a shaky mobile phone thats deemed something akin to the crimes of Julian Assange.

As for Wigan. If Adam does go there at least he can thank the fans in person…individually and still be back to watch the goals on at 10pm.

It’s the fact that you can watch the goals on sky sports news that’s the problem. They are protecting their revenues. I don’t have sky – and never will – but by banning other opportunities to watch the goals they are driving people to their paid-for, exclusive model.
