Leeds United came but Brentford conquered. It was another great performance from a Bees team who moved back into the top half of the table, past Leeds and within touching distance of the play-off zone.
Highlights of the game were plentiful, to the point where I’m really struggling to pick out a man of the match.
To read the rest of this article, season 2014/15 is now available to download onto Kindle (and other electronic reading device) in full. Containing additional material and even some (poor) editing, you can get it here for less than the cost of a Griffin Park matchday programme or Balti Pie.
Thanks for reading and all your comments over the course of the season. For now, I need to make more space on the site for any follow up. However, ‘close season’ will continue in full, further along.

What poorly written tripe.
Thanks for your insightful observation. Whatever lack of quality there may be here was certainly made up for by that seen ‘on pitch’.
Anyone reading that bleating about the yellow cards would think you lost the game. BTW, his name is Jason. That’s Jason Pearce, not James Pearce
Usual bollocks…..
‘Bollocks’?? That’s a little bit harsh.
I didn’t think Leeds were that bad
As a Leeds fan I was disappointed with our team’s performance, especially after the way we played the previous game. Brentford played well, but you had a good day at the office and caught us on a bad one. See you at Elland Road…
You got the Massimo in the away end bit wrong though (amongst lots of other factual errors & rose tinted moments in your article!). He was ejected from the Brentford directors’ area after over-celebrating the penalty miss. It was after this that he went to watch the rest of the match in with the away support.
Cheers – can’t wait for the return encounter
