Brentford were held to a 0-0 draw by visiting Sheffield Wednesday – our second in three days – following the trip to Wigan Athletic. It was a game that, on the occasion of our 125th anniversary, promised much but ultimately failed to deliver a goal or three points.

Always wondered what the point of the ‘half time mini goal entertainment’ was.Who is it entertaining? Is it to make up for the inaudible PA system, as usually its impossible to hear who PG is presenting to the Braemar. Peter could have said Katy Price for all I know?
I also managed to miss our annual visit from Danny DeVito on the touchline, and I hear he was pretty much true to type.
Nothing can be as cringeworthy as the ’emulate Paul Evans’ one.
