And the top five Brentford perfomers were…..

11 Jan

Southampton 4 Brentford 1. It was as bad as the score line suggests . It was a result which now presents yours truly with the somewhat dubious challenge of looking back at the game to try and find the top five performers for The Bees. Those players who will be looking to make a name for themselves at Liverpool on Sunday.

No celebrations at full time

Who made the list? Can anyone count themselves unlucky to have missed out? Has there been a glaring omission? Well, here you go…………….

To be fair you came up with the only 3 players that would have got a 6/10. What hugely concerns me was how bad Ivan was, and it was also clear Lossl needs to start Sunday.

Thankfully I was not this game or even able to watch it live on TV but I could imagine a vivid picture of mediocrity even by avidly following BBC Sports Live Text. It doesn’t seem possible that a team that fought so hard to come back to win against Aston Villa can then be defeated with such ease by a team of very similar ability. It’s Live Text again
