Another weekend. Another three points for Brentford. Another victory in a London derby. This time, West Ham came, saw and catipulated. With the Bees just a solitary point off tenth place in the Premier League, this Saturday’s game with Watford is even bigger than it already was when the fixtures were published .

As ever at this juncture, time to look back at who was the star man for Brentford. Who were the top five performers as West Ham ran the gauntlet of cat calling directed to their defence? Who is in line to be our season long top performer? Can anyone break in to the team for the visit to Watford?

Depending on what Pontus’s injury is it’d be hard to drop someone after yesterday’s performance. They way Zanka played was like he’d been doing it week in week out. Great performance. Ajer played more the wing back role and went on some great runs. I’d be tempted to leave the line-up as it was for the WH game. We dominated and attacked with gusto and that could make Watford nervous.
If Bryan scores from half his shots he’ll get an absolute bagful. And he deserves it.
Yes, I agree that it’s hard to change a winning formula. Zanka was magnificent. Every player had a good game, of which the same cannot be said of West Ham. When Antonio was subbed I didn’t notice any difference on the pitch.
