This Saturday sees Brentford take on Oldham at Griffin Park in Mark Warburton’s first League One game as our manager.
Whilst most people will be concentrating on the football, I have an additional interest in the written word. Going up against the award winning ‘official’ matchday magazine (you may not be aware that it was recently named overall winner for Sky Bet League One in the 2013/14 Midlands Programme Club Awards) is the latest issue of Beesotted.
Brentford’s longest running fanzine, and now on its 103rd edition, this latest issue is full of, and I quote “The usual unpopular nonsense, plus opinion on Uwe Rosler’s departure and news of the Lionel Road Stadium development.”
To read the rest of this article, season 2013/14 is now available to download onto Kindle, in full. Containing previously unseen content, you can do so here for less than the cost of one matchday programme.
Thanks for reading over the course of the campaign. For now I need to make space on this page for any follow up. The ‘close season’ / World Cup columns continue in full, further on in this site.
